Memories And Emotions Can Colour Our Awareness

Memories of past events in our life can have associated with them deep emotional charge. This can cause these memories to keep repeating themselves over and over again throughout our life.

Sometimes the pattern is triggered by our environment and sometimes by a person or situation. Once triggered, the memory of the event plays out, with all the deep emotional charge of the original event.

The first step to solving this pattern of behaviour is to become aware of the process. If you find your mood swinging for no apparent reason it may be that one of these past memories is playing out at a subconscious level.

By focusing on what is happening, you are bring it back into the conscious mind and questioning the validity of the experience and emotions you are experiencing.

Through forgiveness we can release the energies, which are stuck in this pattern of experience and behaviour. Through forgiveness we release the emotional charge and this can be both for the other person and yourself or associated with an event.

These memory patterns can keep playing out over long periods of time and create shadows, which stop us seeing the true reality of a situation. As we move into the new energy more of these patterns of behaviour are coming up to the surface of the mind to be released.

As we release each one, we become a little more aware of the true reality around us. We become a little more centred within ourselves and aware of what is happening now and receive genuine information from our senses.

This growth in our awareness and expansion of our feelings and emotions allows us to grow in self knowledge. It gives us the freedom to choose our mood first and come from our own heart centre and radiate love to those around us.

We stop reacting to life and start to create the life we would love to experience and grow into. We empower ourselves to see life as it truly is and enjoy it in the moment, without carrying all the baggage of past events with us. We become a master of ourselves and therefore master the way we see and experience the world in which we live.

We are growing on the path to mastery and enjoying living life in an evolutionary way. This growth is happening now on an individual level. Soon we will see it happening in our communities and on the level of government and will grow into a new awareness in the world of the oneness of life.

House Plans

A house plan is of major importance. How can a structure be built without a plan? Every construction plan needs an outline, for without it, everything will be in disarray. For individuals who want to venture into the building of a house, the house plan is the most basic factor to consider.

Definition and Importance

A house plan is the pattern that will be followed by the designing and constructing team. Imagine constructing a house without a house plan. Do you think it will materialize? Basically, a house plan shows a vivid picture of how a house will look after every single job has been done.

Although houses differ in style, structure, and build, house plans have one thing in commontheir elements. Concentrating on the basic elements of a house plan will aid homeowners in organizing the parts and conceptualizing the houses actual outcome. Above all, the major elements that the homeowner wants in his house ought to be included in the house plan. The rest of the minute details that the homeowner deems necessary can be added through the course of the finalization of the house plan.

Considerations of House Plan

Outlining the structure of the house is the very first step. How many stories should there be? Do you prefer a basement? How many rooms will there be?

The entire square footage of the house must be kept in mind as this will aid in outlining the house. Mapping out the boundaries of each room is essential. The location of the kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, porch, and the like should be carefully planned. Figuring out if there is a garage, fireplace, bathtub, or outside water facet for a swimming pool or a pond is a must. Every room and major items ought to be labeled to avoid confusion.

Paradise In Your Own Backyard

In this day and age, the world moves at a stressfully fast pace. Tension abounds at work. There is no escape from the tension at home. There are sources of stress all around you. It's important to be able to get away from the stresses of every day life so you can relax. If only you had the time to take a week off from your life, relaxing at a spa resort. For less than half the cost and time of a spa visit, you can enjoy nature all year round by sprucing up your backyard. Think, "Backyard Spa"!

Location, Location, Location

A spa's location is crucial for the admiration of your neighbors and the aesthetic qualities it can bring to your backyard. So first and foremost, CAREFULLY choose your spa's location. You could set it up in an unused area of your backyard or locate it right on your present patio. The size of the available space will determine the size of your spa. Make sure that you know where the spa's attachments for water and electricity are. Seasonal flowers, bushes, and other plants make fine decorations for the surrounding area. Be sure that the spa is cleared of any potential tree branches that may fall into it.

Many people choose to fit their homes with customized patio coverings, which are tasteful, yet still provide the necessary privacy. With the strategic use of wood, lattice, posts, and paint you can create the neighborhood's best in privacy and beauty in your own backyard. You can adjust the privacy and the amount of sunlight with the lattice spacing. The coverings can also be used to grow ivy and flowers. A landscaper can install them more quickly and save you time. You can also plant high hedges around the edge of the backyard. To maintain privacy, you can enclose your spa in a hot tub gazebo.

Numerous Options and Choices

Your back yard is an awesome place to relax and unwind after a hard day's work. You can commune with your family and with nature there. Privacy and beauty can go hand in hand with a little creativity. High-quality landscaping materials and vividly colored plants will help. Your patio can be painted with colors to match your personality. A unique look can be simply achieved through the addition of pretty rugs and aromatic candles, and for a really unique look you can add elaborate statues.

Placing a birdbath in your backyard will encourage pretty birds to stop by. Stones or other sturdy material can be used in its construction. You can have different types of birdbaths, pedestal or hanging.

With just a little creativity, you can turn your backyard into something wonderful. You do not have to have a large yard to make it awesome, just a little bit of creativity. What matters most is how you use your imagination to transform the space you have into a beautiful outdoor paradise.

As an expert on the Santa Clarita Valley real estate market for more than 30 years Pam Ingram loves the idea of having a backyard paradise as a place to unwind after a long day. In fact Pam has noted that a number of the new homes in Santa Clarita had paradise in mind when their backyards were constructed.

Feng Shui - Wind Chimes To Better Your Life

Wind chimes are attributed to the Chinese, who over three thousand years ago made them to generate melodic sounds for their religious services. Such chimes are also used in Feng Shui and are often made of wood and bamboo.

Available Types

The number of cylinders that a wind chime has is what decides its purpose. Six to eight cylinders are said to bring good luck. Five tubes are often used to protect against bad luck. Not only are they considered to bring luck but wind chimes made of eight cylinders, hollowed and connected to a ship can bring wealth to the owner. The ship must be modeled after an ancient Chinese ship used for trading. Usually, they are made from bamboo or rosewood.

Although people tend to hang them everywhere, placing them in a position where they face a certain star is considered the best place. This is because stars are fire elements and by facing them, wind chimes made of wood receive sustenance that in turn makes good luck stream into your home and in turn into your life. Feng Shui wind chimes have long been considered to bring luck into the home in which they hang. On the other hand, metal versions are not recommended because they can release bad luck. Rather than receiving the sustenance from the stars, they resist it.

Bamboo version

Presently, bamboo chimes are the most popular for Feng Shui practices. Natural healing powers are said to be one of their when they are hung in your doorways and windows. To experience the mind healing powers, you need to stop and listen to the music that is generated by the breeze playing with them.

in case you do not realize, most bamboo wind chimes are hand cut before being tuned to produce wonderful sounds. Almost nothing else in the world is as soothing as they are. Depending on the thickness of the wood, different sounds are made. A thinner wood produces a tinkling sound whereas a thicker one makes a bong sound. Either way the sounds produced by them is said to have great results on clearing your mind and relieving stress.

Feng Shui wind chimes have become more popular over the last few years as people search for ways to improve their life. A large part of this ancient practice is the belief in it so if you believe that the placement of wind chimes will enhance your life, they may do just that.

Italian Bread Making Cabinet

Italians obviously pay a lot of attention to their variety of breads! They even have a special cabinet called the Madia or Italian bread making cabinet. It seems they have more than 350 varieties, of which 250 are readily available. No wonder they have a special cabinet for it! They even have specialities from each region.

This Madia that I saw in a site is from the Tuscany region and these people specialize in flat breads including rosemary-flavoured schiacciata.Tuscan antiques, even though a subset of Italian antiques seems to enjoy its own prestigious place among European antiques. Madia is the Italian name for a chest used for the making and storage of bread. The top lifts off and the front folds down at the hingers, making wonderful storage. The two doors at the bottom open for additoinal storage as well. The cabinet is from the early 19th century and is made of poplar wood. Bread in the Italian society has always been at the center of any religious, family or social life.

And they take pride in the exquisite furniture they created in the 18th and early 19th century. This site where I was introduced to a Bread Making cabinet and which got me interested in different types of Italian breads also showcases many more Italian antiques, some even quaintly called the ice-box, which I shall talk about in another article! Whether it is their Sardinian carta da musica (thin as sheets of music!!) or Romagna's piadina or the rustic Ciabatta, the study of Italian bread varieties and their cabinets is a very interesting pass time.

Learn How to Create Harmony & Tranquility in Your Home & Office - Feng Shui Can Transform Your Life

3 Steps of Feng Shui:

Feng Shui is the Chinese art of detecting Chi, the energy in and around our physical world that affects our well being, sense of comfort and peace of mind. The spaces you live and work in are powerful forces in your life. Home is where you physically manifest your beliefs about the world, and it affects you just as you affect it. You can shift its energy to restore balance and encourage growth by integrating feng shui into your design choices on many different levels, depending on what resonates with you. Each design choice has a physical aspect, a psychological/emotional aspect, and a cultural aspect.

Step 1: Ready your space by clearing it of negative energy. Most experts agree space clearing will improve the quality of our lives more effectively than any other feng shui technique.

- Thoroughly clean and organize the space as much as possible.
- Focus your mind on your intention to clear and energize your space.
- Light a sage wand or incense and walk through the entire space, saturating the atmosphere with the cleansing smoke.
- Ring bells at a slow steady rhythm while moving around the space.
- Refocus your attention to what your intention is for that space.

Step 2: Consider how Chi flows. Some physical aspects should be considered at the outset.

- Doorways and windows that are directly across from one another allow Chi to flow straight through the space. Redirect the energy back into the room with screens, plants, crystals, etc.
- Long hallways that dead end may block the flow of Chi. Move the energy back out of an enclosed space through mirrors, chimes, and/or crystals.
- Rearrange the placement of furniture that blocks walking through a space.
- Arrange rugs to direct movement through the space.
- Soften sharp corners with plants, crystals, chimes.
- If there are any unused doors, place a folding screen in front of it.

Step 3: Locate the areas in your space that relate to the areas of your life you wish to enhance. Begin with laying out the space in relationship to the Baqua Map.

- Sketch a floor plan of your space
- Sketch the areas of the Bagua Map over the plan
- Place the main entrance to your space in line with the bottom of the map.
- Small sections may extend beyond or intrude into the map
- Determine what specific life aspect(s) you wish to enhance.
- Place objects that have meaning and reflect those aspects so your intention for enhancing that area of your life is personally significant

An important note: Only use those feng shui adjustments that make sense to you and reflect your intentions. Placing something in your home that you don't like just because it is "good feng shui" will not enhance your home or support your personal growth.

What Is a Wheat Berry?

Wheat is one of the oldest and most important crops in the world. Second only to rice, it is the main staple for much of the world. Wheat kernels have been used since the beginning of time, and they have been seen in instances of ancient art, and language. For many people it is used every single day of their lives, often whether they realize it or not.

A wheat kernel is a seed produced by the wheat plant. A wheat kernel is often called a wheat berry by nutritionists and health nuts. The kernel is the simplistic form of wheat, and comes in a variety of colors. Most commonly red and white in color, and rated as soft or hard kernels.

Wheat kernels can last for years if they are stored in a cool, dry place. This makes it one of the more sustainable crops, if treated correctly.

Wheat berries are much more elaborate than they look, and are made up of several parts that give them the nutrients, and flavor our bodies need. Wheat kernels have vitamins A, which helps with our vision, immune systems, and skin; Vitamin B, which reduces cancers, helps with our immune system, and promotes cell growth, and Vitamin E. Pretty impressive, isn't it?

The outside of the wheat kernel is the bran, and if you've ever had bathroom issues, you've probably been recommended bran cereals to provide fiber. Wheat germ is the "life" of the wheat kernel, and the main particle that allows wheat to sprout. The endosperm is a word that you may recall from middle school biology, and that's the last part key factor in the makings of a wheat kernel; the endosperm is the part of the wheat berry that contains all the starch.

When you take the time to think about it, it's really amazing what one kernel is made up of. Like the snow flake, no wheat kernel is the same. There are over fifteen thousand varieties of wheat that are grown in the United States, and they are all based around harvest times, colors, and what they can be used for. When many of us think about wheat, a loaf of bread is probably what pops into our minds, but what about pastries, pasta, oatmeal, and flour? These all originate from a different type of wheat, grown at a different time!

Whole wheat is something almost everyone needs more of in their diet. Dr. Grandma's sells nutritious whole wheat mixes and wheat berries (aka: wheat kernels). To learn more about whole wheat foods and to find some great wheat berry recipes visit DoctorGrandmas.com.
